The New International Performing Arts Capital
Serving the vision of excellence as a conceptual initiative for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, this project is a planned perspective for the proposed establishment of a progressive presentation of arts entertainment in creation of a niche market for the performing arts community on the island of Grand Bahama.
We begin today, by establishing a primary infrastructure of the arts community, creating a functionally systematic database which connects and creates a fundamental access to all active members of the Arts Community, on Grand Bahama Island in particular.
Freeport, the Planned City, and the GRAND location, has the perfect name, face, and infrastructure. Our reputation speaks for itself, as the nations second city. The island is attributed to having samples of everything that each island of the entire Bahamas itself has to offer as its own.
Seeking its principal niche, Grand Bahama Island is the persistent general essence of a powerhouse community. Here there remains the access to every capability necessary in order to reach its prime in the Entertainment Arts, and with access to compete amidst the most prominent Arts Capitals of the Global Community. The opportunity presents itself.
Planning, Preparation, Persistence, Patience, and Painstaking work are key. This initiative requires community involvement, and a commitment to excellence. We must embody the complete progressive scope of the featured performance arts in the arts entertainment perspective. To produce and sustain this product, it must become a collaborative task by which individuals with a grand scope of specific skill are enabled to work toward the successfully active production of the relative projected enterprises through the communicative access to various resources within the community.
Imagine The Creation of works of art that are so dynamic that people from all over the world travel to the island of Grand Bahama just in order to share in this eighth wonder of the world. People will want to come to this Arts Capital of the Bahamas to experience the timeless display of class and culture exhibited by our performance arts community. It is the new wave of Artistic Tourism.
Infinitely, our purpose will serve to inspire a new generation of dreamers, to empower the children of the world by infusing their minds with higher thinking, to share a mass of knowledge and understanding through the enlightened entertainment arts. The full scope of the Arts and Performance is where freedom of expression lives boundlessly.
Walt Disney created an empire because he had a dream, passionately, that allowed others to dream and to fall in love over and over again. Like the story of the mustard seed, the kingdom comes from what seems to be nothing, but a vision of hope. It is planted on the most fertile ground, and with time and care, it is allowed to grow. Soon it is tall, its branches extend out further than anyone had imagined it would. Its green leaves are now like a garden of its own. It provides shade for all of the bearers of this good fruit.
